God's Timing

I love those times God blesses you at just the time you need it! This week has been pretty heavy at our house as we were going on week 2 without dad home.  Eric spent the last two weeks in Ghana, Africa setting up a clinic with an EMR system.  It was a tough week as we missed him like crazy and saw in his eyes the pain and heart ache he was experiencing an ocean away.  His eyes were opened and heart was torn in two as he watched pain and suffering around him.  He was standing by a 12 year old girl as she took her last breath. It was a heavy week and many tears were shed but what a gift today when I opened my email to these precious pictures of our sweet little Ellie and her nanny!  She looks like such a little peanut!

I love the little look on her face on the first picture! I can't wait to see that little face with a smile on it.

Her toes are always doing the cutest little thing in pictures.  Love that big toe on her little right foot ... I can't wait to get my hands on them.  And those cheeks are way too kissable ... they are not going to know what hit them!

Today our sweet girl is 9 months old! We can't wait to have her in our arms. Thanking God for the gift of these pictures and seeing the face of our baby girl today!

Ellie is beautiful!!! We have three children adopted from Ghana. You come back changed after having been there. The country, and the people, are amazing, but it's just a hard place to visit.
